About me

Andreas Roessler

I help companies navigate the fast-moving world of wireless technology by turning complex 5G, 5G-Advanced, and 6G challenges into clear, actionable strategies. With more than 17 years of experience — much of it in test and measurement — I’ve worked at the intersection of academic research, corporate R&D, product management, and market strategy. This gives me a unique perspective that blends deep technical expertise with real-world business impact.

Over the recent years, I was a key contributor to industry collaborations with partners such as Nvidia Research and Qualcomm Technologies, resulting in industry-first demonstrations of Machine Learning (ML)-driven neural receivers and ML-based Channel State Information (CSI) feedback enhancement at major industry events like Mobile World Congress and the Brooklyn 6G Summit. I also played a key role in Germany’s government-funded research project 6G-ANNA (6G for Access, Network of Networks, Automation and Simplification) which brought together more than 30 partners from industry and academia.

Clients value my ability to translate complex standards and test requirements into practical solutions — whether that’s shaping R&D roadmaps, defining test strategies, or providing technical insights for executive decision-making. I’ve contributed to industry groups including the Next G Alliance and the AI-RAN Alliance, and I regularly shared insights through thought-leadership content through initiatives such as #ThinkSix and TechTalk.

If your organization wants to understand how 6G use cases — from immersive XR applications to robotics and connected healthcare — will come to life, what role AI/ML will play in the air interface and the network, or how advanced RF technologies will impact your products and market position, I can help you cut through the hype and focus on what matters most.

6G is not just about another tenfold or hundredfold increase in performance metrics. It’s about reimagining connectivity and making the most of it — starting today.

As Halford Luccock once said: “No one can whistle a symphony. It takes a whole orchestra to play it.”
